Introduction to Policy Analysis

This course offers an accessible introduction to two core questions of political science: How and why are certain policies adopted and what is their impact? The course reviews central theories and methods on both areas. The course uses examples from current policy debates such as the 4-day work week, abortion, social media bans, rent freezes and many more. Students work in groups throughout the semester on a specific policy and present an anaylsis to the class. The class votes whether or not to adopt the policy.
